About ICPEA_2027

The 7th International Conference on Power Electronics and their Applications (ICPEA’2027) is an international forum dedicated to advancing power electronics and exploring its broad spectrum of applications in energy conversion, power systems, electrical drives control, power quality, and industrial solutions.

This edition, after the success of the six pervious editions, places strong emphasis on the development of innovative and intelligent solutions that address modern power electronics challenges in many area of applications, with a particular focus on advanced innovative topologies, new semi-conductor switches and materials, and control strategies, including new advanced researches and application, espcially those based on artificial intelligence and smart applications.

ICPEA’2027 aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among experts driving the evolution of smarter, more efficient, more reliable and more resilient systems based on power electronics.

Following the success of previous editions held in Algeria, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, ICPEA has established itself as a respected and recognized international forum for scientific and industrial exchange in the field of power electronics. ICPEA’2027 is organized by the Unit for Innovation and Research in Engineering, Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa of the Polytechnic University of Lisbon in collaboration with the Applied Automation and Industrial Diagnostics Laboratory of the University of Djelfa, Algeria, and which will be held from 15 to 17 March, 2027, in Lisbon, Portugal. This region is known for its rich cultural heritage and architectural beauty.

This edition of the conference continues the tradition of bringing together a multidisciplinary community from electrical engineering, control systems, applied physics, and other related fields and cutting-edge ideas. It welcomes participation from academics, researchers, industrial experts, engineers, and energy sector stakeholders to share knowledge, key challenges, strengthen collaborations, and propose innovative, power electronics-based solutions to address current challenges in both academic and industrial environments.
